Proton Sports
While working as an aerospace and defense executive, Charles Darling's true passion was on the softball field. Frustrated with fragile and costly bats, he decided to design his own. Collaborating with top composites engineers who designed fighter jets and spacecraft, he developed the "Series One" bat. This led him to launch Proton Sports in 2021.
In late 2022, Charles discovered a new passion: pickleball. Noticing a lack of innovative paddles, he launched a new mission. After over a year of R&D with his engineering colleagues, he officially launched Proton Pickleball in 2024.
